EmpoweredMe Board of Directors: Call for Expressions of Interest

EmpoweredMe is seeking passionate and dynamic leaders to join our Board of Directors for the January 2025-27 term! We’re a dedicated organization serving the Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) community with a special focus on empowering young girls. We also work with youth through impactful programs across schools, reserves, Metis Settlements and communities.

Strategic Guidance: Collaborate with fellow board members to set and refine EmpoweredMe’s strategic goals, prioritizing youth empowerment, especially within BIPOC communities.
Community and Youth Engagement: Build partnerships with schools, communities, Reserves, Metis Settlement, and  organizations to ensure EmpoweredMe’s programs are relevant, impactful, and accessible.
Program Development Support: Offer insights to help shape and improve EmpoweredMe’s programs, especially those related to mental health, Confidence, or youth engagement.
