Project Manager of Finance - Join the STEAMistic Finance Team!

We are looking for high-school and University students to join our Edmonton team!

The Project Manager - Finance position entails working with a small group of volunteers to apply for potential grants, contact community partners, and plan/organize fundraising events. Some previous experience in grant writing/applications, fundraising, and finance is an asset. This is a virtual/online position.

Responsibilities include:
- Attending weekly meetings chaired by the Director(s) of Finance;
- Corresponding with community partners and local/national funding programs to acquire funding to support STEAMistic programming; and
- Assisting with planning and executing fundraising events.

This role is best suited for individuals looking to develop/improve finance management skills, gain community outreach and grant writing, and has a passion for promoting STEAM educational opportunities. Highly motivated, organized, and responsible individuals will be most successful in this position.

STEAMistic is a youth-led initiative that aims to distribute STEAM-related educational materials & activities to youth from low SES backgrounds across Edmonton & Calgary. Our goal is to ignite curiosity among the youth, help them build innovation, leadership skills and critical thinking skills.
