STEAMistic Project Manager - Outreach Position

STEAMistic is a youth-led initiative that aims to distribute STEAM-related educational materials & activities to youth from low SES backgrounds across Edmonton & area. Our goal is to ignite curiosity among the youth & help them build innovation, leadership & critical thinking skills.

The project manager - outreach position entails working with a small group of volunteers to spread the word about STEAMistic to potential organizations to collaborate with in the future. This position also entails hosting informative/advocacy events related to STEAM (for partner organizations, the general public. This can be in-person or via STEAMistic social media pages).

Some previous experience in organizing and managing events, community outreach, or advocacy work is an asset.
