Ukrainian Pioneers Associaiton of Alberta

Founded in 1941 we have been collecting and preserving Ukrainian stories in Alberta since we were founded by people who had been part of the "first wave" of settlement before the First World War.

In the past we have hosted festivals, banquets, and speaches, published books and magazines, sponsored artistic and cultural projects, supported university research, and sent aid to Ukraine and to Ukrainian studies programs at universities around the world. Join us as we embark on a new chapter of our organization's long history of service.
