Join our team as a Birthday Volunteer and help make birthdays unforgettable for seniors in supportive and memory care. This joyful role involves organizing and facilitating birthday parties on the last Thursday and Friday of each month, creating memorable experiences and a sense of celebration.

Responsibilities:
- Event Setup: Prepare party venues and decorate for celebrations.
- Resident Engagement: Ensure residents feel special and celebrated during their birthdays.
-Activity Coordination: Facilitate games, music, and social interactions to keep the atmosphere lively.

Expectations of Volunteers:
-Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
-Respect confidentiality and residents' rights.
-Approach interactions with a non-judgmental attitude.
-Be open to feedback.

Qualifications:
-Cheerful and enthusiastic with a passion for creating joyful experiences.
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Patience and empathy when interacting with residents.
-Previous experience in event planning or working with seniors is a plus.

Requirements: A vulnerable sector check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory.

Time Commitment: Last Thursday and Friday of each month, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
