Position Summary:
Join our team as a birthday volunteer and help make birthdays unforgettable for seniors receiving supportive and memory care. This joyful role involves organizing and facilitating birthday parties that bring happiness and a sense of celebration to our residents. Your efforts will create memorable experiences and strengthen the sense of community within our facility.

Responsibilities:
Event Setup: Help set up party venues, decorate spaces, and prepare for the celebrations.
Resident Engagement: Interact with residents during the parties, ensuring they feel special and celebrated on their birthdays.
Activity Coordination: Facilitate party activities such as games, music, and social interactions to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging.
Supportive Care: Provide gentle support to residents, helping them participate fully in the festivities. Adapt birthday activities to suit the cognitive abilities of residents with memory care needs, ensuring everyone can enjoy the celebration.

Qualifications:

Creativity and flexibility in planning and executing party activities.
Previous experience in event planning or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
A vulnerable sector check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory.
