Are you a member of the clergy or a non-ordained member of a faith community looking to provide emotional and spiritual support to seniors? Join us as a spiritual care volunteer and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents in our supportive and memory care facilities.

Position Summary: As a Spiritual Care Volunteer, you will offer companionship, lead spiritual activities, and provide emotional support to seniors from diverse faith backgrounds. Your presence and empathy will contribute to their overall well-being, bringing comfort and peace.

Responsibilities:
Companionship: Spend quality time with residents, offering a listening ear and spiritual support through meaningful conversations.
Spiritual Activities: Organize and lead spiritual activities such as prayer groups, meditation sessions, and faith-based discussions.
Interfaith Support: Respect and support the diverse spiritual and religious beliefs of residents, facilitating connections to their faith traditions.
Supportive Care: Provide gentle and compassionate care, ensuring residents feel safe and comforted. Adapt spiritual activities for those with memory care needs, using familiar rituals to stimulate memory and emotional well-being.

Qualifications:
Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine interest in providing spiritual care to seniors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and facilitate spiritual activities.
Patience and sensitivity in interacting with residents of varying abilities and faith backgrounds.
Flexibility and adaptability are important in meeting diverse resident needs.
Previous experience in spiritual care, caregiving, or working with seniors is advantageous but not required.
A vulnerable sector check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory.
