Position Summary:
Are you someone who enjoys changing your nails to suit your day, your mood, or for a special occasion? Our residents share your passion and would love your help! If you're looking to share your time and expertise, the Personal Pampering volunteer position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:
As a personal pampering volunteer, you will provide manicure services to our continuing care residents, including:
Removing old nail polish
Filing nails
Applying nail polish

Expectations of Volunteers:
Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Respect confidentiality and the rights of the residents.
Approach interactions with a non-judgmental attitude.
Be open to accountability and constructive feedback.


Qualifications:
A passion for creating joyful experiences for seniors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy in interacting with residents of varying abilities.
Creativity and flexibility in planning and executing visits.
Previous experience in nail care or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
A vulnerable sector check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory.
