Position Summary:
Become a Sing-Along Volunteer and bring the joy of music to seniors receiving supportive and memory care. This engaging role involves organizing and leading sing-along sessions that uplift the spirits of our residents and create a sense of community. Your musical talents and enthusiasm will help foster a lively and happy environment.

Responsibilities:
Session Leadership: Organize and lead sing-along sessions, encouraging residents to participate and enjoy the music.
Song Selection: Choose a variety of familiar and enjoyable songs for the residents, catering to different musical tastes and preferences.
Resident Engagement: Interact with residents during the sessions, making sure they feel included and valued.
Supportive Care: Adapt musical activities to suit the cognitive abilities of residents with memory care needs, using music to stimulate memory and emotional well-being.
Instrumental Accompaniment (optional): Play an instrument to accompany the sing-alongs, enhancing the musical experience for residents.

Qualifications:
Passionate about music and working with seniors.
Ability to lead and engage a group in musical activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy in interacting with residents of varying abilities.
Flexibility in adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of residents.
Previous experience in music, caregiving, or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
A vulnerable sector check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory.
