An All Abilities Coach is a supportive and enthusiastic mentor who helps athletes of all abilities grow, learn, and enjoy participating in sports and recreational activities. This role is all about creating an inclusive and encouraging environment where every athlete feels valued and capable, regardless of their physical, intellectual, or developmental abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Encouragement & Support: Foster a positive, uplifting atmosphere, celebrating each athlete’s progress and achievements.

Adapted Coaching: Modify drills, games, and activities to suit the diverse needs and abilities of each participant.

Safety & Well-being: Ensure a safe, structured environment while being mindful of individual requirements and potential challenges.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other coaches, volunteers, and caregivers to provide holistic support to athletes.

Skill Development: Help athletes build confidence, coordination, and social connections through adaptive skill-building exercises and teamwork.

Communication: Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and fellow coaches to understand and meet each athlete’s needs.
