Cast Member

Summary Profile: 
  
CityKidz is seeking individuals to provide theatrical entertainment to kids attending Saturday sessions. During this time, you will be able to facilitate inspiration and big dreams in the lives of children who attend our programs. 
As a Cast Member, you play a vital role in the presentation of CityKidz studio shows for children aged 6-11. You will have the opportunity to lead show segments such as songs, dancing, games, skits, and teaching lessons, in which creates a fun, dynamic, and immersive environment that inspires children to pursue positive character and big dreams.


Skills and Qualifications: 
 
Skill 1 
•	A passion for children to overcome barriers in their life and to dream big dreams. 
Skill 2 
•	Ability to facilitate show engagement and interaction with the audience.
Skill 3 
•	Ability to work well in a team setting as you collaborate with fellow cast members, show leadership, and Tech Team members in order to ensure smooth show execution.
Personality Traits: 

•	Effective communication skills to engage with kids and other volunteers.
•	Willingness to learn.
•	Outgoing and expressive. 
•	Adaptable.
•	High level of attentiveness and responsiveness.
 
Experience & Education:

•	Experience with public speaking or theatrical arts (required).
•	Experience working with children (preferred).

Time Commitment:

Minimum four (4) month commitment is required, preferably biweekly Tuesdays and Saturdays through March – June and September- December. 
Shifts: Saturdays:8:00am-3:00pm.
	Tuesday rehearsal:  7:00pm-9:00pm
