Saturday Bus Driver

Summary Profile: 
  
As a CityKidz Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a bus while adhering to all traffic and CityKidz requirements. During your shift at CityKidz as a Bus driver, you will have the opportunity to be the point person to navigate throughout our communities, to bring children and volunteers to CityKidz for a day filled with magic and fun, all well maintaining a comfortable and secure journey. 


Skills and Qualifications: 
 
Skill 1 
•	Valid C or B driver’s license, with proof of clean record of driving.
Skill 2 
•	Skillful driver with knowledge of provincial traffic laws.
Skill 3 
•	Good judgment and evaluation skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.


Personality Traits: 

•	Personable for both children and team members.
•	Mindful and contentious.
•	Adaptable.
•	Calm under pressure.
•	High level of common sense and strong decision-making skills.
 
Experience & Education:

•	Bus license class B or C (required).
•	Experience driving in Hamilton or surrounding cities (preferred).

Time Commitment:
•       Minimum four (4) month commitment is required, for at least 1x a month but preferably biweekly Saturdays through March – June and September- December. 
•       Shifts: 7:00am-11:00am, 11:00am-3:00pm.
