Wildsight Invermere

Wildsight Invermere is the community branch of Wildsight, serving Invermere and surrounding communities.
We exist to:
- Work with community partners to protect and conserve our local natural environment and species to ensure that thriving resilient ecosystems endure into the future.
- Raise awareness and engagement on climate change actions, informed by current science and based on best practices.
- Actively engage our members and the broader public in interactive, educational, and celebratory events to promote connection with and understanding of our natural world.
Volunteers are the backbone and soul of our organization. There are so many ways you can be involved. If you have some regular hours available or a specific area of expertise to share you could help with organizing our various programmes, fundraising, promotions or become a board or committee member. If you have just a few hours here and there you can help at events and with outreach, putting up posters, or participate in our citizen science efforts. Or reach out to us and tell us how you'd like to be involved!
