About the Campaign: Your Hour, Her Power is Dress for Success Kelowna's signature International Women's Day campaign, celebrating empowered women and fostering leadership in our community. Throughout March, we honor women in leadership and future female leaders while raising funds to support our programs empowering women to achieve economic independence. The month-long campaign kicks off with an inspiring Speakers Panel breakfast event. Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Campaign Assistant to support the execution of the Your Hour, Her Power campaign. This role helps ensure the campaign's success by assisting with event coordination, participant engagement, and fundraising efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Event Recruitment: Actively recruit participants, sponsors, and attendees for campaign events, including the Panel Breakfast. • Fundraising Support: Mentor participants in achieving their fundraising goals by sharing strategies and providing encouragement. • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing the Your Hour, Her Power Panel Breakfast, and other campaign activities, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively. • Social Media Management: Collaborate on the campaign's digital presence by assisting with the creating and scheduling social media posts. Qualifications: • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Knowledge of social media platforms and experience in creating engaging content. • A passion for empowering women and promoting gender equity. • Experience in event coordination or fundraising is an asset.
