You have a successful career and are eager to give back to women at an earlier stage in theirs; you have skills to offer, and we can help connect you with the women who need your support. One of our foundational programs, the Working Women’s Group, offers our clients ongoing personal and professional development opportunities, including linking experienced career women like you with our participants to offer mentorship support. The WWG is a 10-week program that combines one-to-one mentorship with group coaching and development sessions for women who are stepping back into the workplace and eager to advance their careers. Below is a summary of the structure and key focuses of the mentorship aspect, together we can help women elevate their careers and secure their economic independence. Mentorship Summary: As a mentor in our working women’s group, your key focus is to provide a safe space and support to our clients who are navigating new journeys in their careers, a place where they can ask the questions on their mind without judgement and support them to find the answers for themselves as much as possible. Our primary focus is to build confidence, self-awareness and the ability to critically think about any situation as a route to solving problems as they arise. As a mentor it is essential that you: - Have strong empathy and an ability to understand the needs of vulnerable clients - Provide safe space & a listening ear - Are supportive and empowering to build confidence in our clients - Compassionately guide clients toward self-awareness in situations they raise - Provide guidance where required but encourage them to find their own solutions - Act as a sounding board, allowing them to experience their emotions when needed but always guiding them back to a positive route forward from any situation Be accountable to meet with your mentee bi-weekly for 30-60 minutes over the 10-week relationship
