Youth Soccer Project Host

Description:
KCR Community Resources' UAD is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our team as Youth Soccer Project Hosts. In this role, you will support the success of our youth soccer events by assisting with event logistics, engaging with participants, and fostering a positive environment for young players.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with event set-up and take-down.
- Support registration and welcome participants.
- Provide coaching assistance during events when needed.

Requirements:
- A friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
- Passion for working with youth and promoting teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of soccer is helpful but not required—enthusiasm is key!

Time Commitment:
Start Date: Sunday, November 24th, 2024
Duration: Ongoing until March 2025

About United Against Discrimination:
UAD is a program of KCR Community Resources. Our goal is to raise awareness, develop a community-based solution, and build capacity to provide support to victims by doing the following:
- Collect incident reports as relevant baseline information, map the time and location they occurred, and, inform the BC province.
- Recruit community partners and develop a community response protocol.
- Educate service providers, community partners and the general public on anti-racism and anti-discrimination.
