We are seeking a board member to join Kelowna Inclusive. Kelowna Inclusive is a local non-profit formed to cultivate inclusive knowledge-sharing practices that improve social connectedness, well-being, and overall health of the community. We collectively work together to use our strengths, talents, and skills to create places of inclusion and vitality for adults and youth in the Kelowna area. Responsibilities: Attend board meetings Contribute to writing grants for program funding Engage in strategic planning for current and future Kelowna Inclusive programming Community engagement Skills Needed: Have an in-depth understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion Be self-directed and willing to take initiative Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented Previous community engagement experience is an asset
