Westside Multiculturalism Day Set Up Crew

3737 Old Okanagan Hwy, West Kelowna, BC, V4T 2H6 [map]
3-5 hours
The Westside Multiculturalism Day is a celebration of the rich cultural diversity of West Kelowna and the Greater Westside that is taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025. In collaboration with the Westbank Museum, cultural groups come together with displays and activities at booths that we call cultural pavilions, which are the main focus of the event. Cultural groups also put on performances on stage for attendees to enjoy, as well as workshops for the public to participate in. All of these activities are free for the public to take part in!

We need multiple volunteers to assist with the set up of tables, tents, chairs, event signage and banners, and more. Set up starts in the morning before the event at 5:00 AM and goes until finished in time for a 10:00 AM start.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved in this great event's success, and will have the opportunity to learn about setting up a large scale event in a short period of time with a very strict deadline.
