Children's Cooking Class Assistants - Family Centre North
Description: Are you passionate about cooking and preparing food? Do you enjoy working with children? We have an exciting volunteer opportunity for you! Our child/youth cooking classes aim to teach kids 6-15 years of age how to prepare delicious meals. We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us on Monday-Thursday afternoons over the summer months. Details: Duties include assisting our program staff with kitchen set-up, clean-up and helping kids with their recipes during the program. Knowledge of food safe and kitchen sanitization practices are an asset, but not required. Kids in the Kitchen: Fridays Oct 4 – Oct 25 1:00-4:00pm Ages 7-9 Kids in the Kitchen: Fridays Nov 8 – Nov 29 1:00-4:00pm Ages 10-12
Additional Details & Skills Required
Food safety and knowledge of kitchen environment an asset but not required.
