Gala Committee Member – Sponsorship & Prize Solicitation

Are you a natural connector with a passion for making a difference? Do you have a strong network and a talent for sales and fundraising? The Darling Home for Kids (DHK) is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our Gala Committee, with a focus on securing sponsorships and soliciting prizes for our largest signature fundraising event! 

 What You’ll Do: 
🔹 Leverage Your Network – Use your connections to open doors and introduce potential sponsors, donors, and partners to our cause. 
🔹 Secure Sponsorships – Help us exceed our fundraising goals by reaching out to businesses and individuals who want to make an impact. 
🔹 Solicit Auction & Raffle Prizes – Engage local businesses, retailers, and brands to contribute high-value items that will drive excitement and bidding at our event. 
🔹 Work as a Team – Collaborate with fellow committee members to strategize outreach, share leads, and celebrate wins. 
🔹 Be an Ambassador – Represent The Darling Home for Kids with enthusiasm and passion, spreading the word about our mission and the incredible work we do. 

 What We’re Looking For: 
✅ Strong network in the corporate, retail, or hospitality sectors (or a willingness to build one!) 
✅ Confident communicator with a persuasive and friendly approach 
✅ Sales, fundraising, or sponsorship experience is a plus but not required 
✅ Passion for helping children with complex medical needs 
✅ Commitment of a few hours per month, leading up to the event
