Action Team Volunteer

This position is for high school students looking to make a difference in the community.

You will play a crucial role in creating and executing impactful fundraising campaigns aimed at raising money and funds for important social justice causes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, develop your skills in campaign management, and work with passionate individuals to support a wide range of initiatives aimed at addressing systemic injustices and supporting marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the HYSJI team to identify key causes and social justice issues in need of financial support.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising campaigns (online and offline) to raise funds for chosen causes.
- Develop creative and engaging content for social media, newsletters, and campaign materials to promote fundraising initiatives.
- Reach out to local businesses, community leaders, and influencers for support and partnership opportunities.
- Monitor the success of fundraising campaigns, track donations, and report on campaign progress.
- Support event planning and coordination for fundraising events (virtual or in-person).
- Provide regular updates on campaign activities, successes, and areas of improvement.
- Foster a sense of community among volunteers, donors, and participants to encourage continued support for the cause.
