Team Member

This role involves actively taking part in monthly group meetings, contributing ideas, and participating in discussions. The HYSJI (Halton Youth Social Justice Initiative) has two major components: Action and Awareness. Action involves running campaigns and fundraisers - actively raising money and donations for charities and non-profits. Awareness can be done asynchronously - creating Instagram posts, reels, stories, and promoting the HYSJI. 

Volunteers can chooses to participate in one or both of these streams. Both contribute greatly to the overarching mission of the HYSJI - to provide awareness of prominent social justice issues and global humanitarian crises while actively raising funds and donations for these causes.
