Aviva Chorus is Vancouver Island’s longest running 2SLGBTQIA+ choir. We are a community of people from different backgrounds and experiences who come together to share our joy and passion of singing. We believe in being inclusive and respectful of all people. We choose music that reflects the diversity of various cultures and spiritual practices as well as different expressions of gender identity.

Mission:
AVIVA invites our 2SLGBTQIA+ community to be inspired by and to flourish through the power of singing together. Our chorus nurtures singers to gain confidence in a fun and joyful atmosphere that honours our many diversities. We promote meaningful relationships among our members, our local 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and our mid-island society to foster resilience, equity and justice for all.
