Join our team as a Active Living Volunteer and play a vital role in supporting our senior community. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to event coordination, providing you with valuable experience in various aspects of senior care and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

Administration, Data Entry, and Filing:
Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
Maintain accurate records and databases related to community activities and residents' information.

Inventory Organization:
Help maintain inventory supplies for community events and activities.
Organize storage areas and keep inventory records up-to-date.

Event Planning, Set Up, and Take Down:
Collaborate with staff to plan and organize community events and activities.
Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging seating and equipment.
Aid in the efficient dismantling and cleanup of event areas after activities conclude.

Event Decoration:
Contribute creative ideas and assist in decorating event spaces according to themes or occasions.
Ensure decorations are safely installed and appropriately displayed.

Poster Creation:
Design visually appealing posters and promotional materials for upcoming events.
Assist in distributing posters within the community to promote engagement.

Coordinate with Staff and Contractors:
Liaise with staff members and external contractors to ensure smooth event execution.
Communicate effectively to coordinate schedules and tasks related to events and activities.

Interact with Residents:
Foster positive relationships with community residents through friendly interactions and assistance during events.
Listen to residents' feedback and suggestions to enhance their experience.
Certification or Education Required
First aid is a plus
