Fresh Air Learning Society Vancouver

Fresh Air Learning is a forest school in Vancouver, BC. We believe that children are competent, capable people who are able to create deep connections with each other and with nature. As outdoor facilitators, we work to help these relationships grow. Our organization offers programs for children ages 2-12, including parent and tot, preschool-age nature programs, and classes that run in tandem with a local school district. We also offer professional development for teachers and a subsidized in-school mentorship program that helps teachers facilitate in nearby nature.

We are committed to ongoing work focused on diversity and decolonization. This is an area of growth for our organization. We acknowledge that our programs take place on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) territories.
