Board of Directors - Director at Large

NutritionLink Services Society (NLS) is a non-profit organization focused on improving the health of BC residents through the promotion of healthy eating and nutritional literacy. NLS currently administers an annual grant program, through which funds are granted to organizations throughout BC to execute projects aligning with NLS' mandate.

We are looking to recruit new Board Members to complement our existing volunteer Board. We are specifically seeking Board members who are excited to contribute to the strategic direction of the organization and implement Board initiatives, including fundraising efforts.

This position requires approximately 5 hours per month, including a monthly held Board meeting (currently scheduled on Mondays at 6:30pm). Some in-person meetings may also be held in the Lower Mainland (dates and times determined as a Board). Although prior Board experience is not necessary, we are looking for committed Board members who will actively contribute to discussions. Attendance at monthly Board meetings is mandatory.
