Outreach and Events Coordinator - VIRTUAL
1 year committment minimum
Description of Role: The Outreach and Events Coordinator is responsible for expanding the organization’s reach and impact by building valuable connections with various institutions and communities. Your strong communication skills, networking abilities, and event coordination expertise will help promote our case, attract new members, and secure vital partnerships. Responsibilities: Reach out to school boards, accommodations services in universities and colleges to promote Take a Pain Check’s resources and initiatives Establish connections with local schools and community centers to engage students and community members in our organization’s mission Contact hospitals, private practices and organizations to promote Take Pain Check’s services and encourage involvement in our support programs Establish partnerships and collaborations with relevant healthcare professionals and community organizations Reach out to news media sources to promote Take a Pain Check, our events, initiatives, and success stories, attracting media coverage and increasing our visibility In conjunction with the grants and sponsorship team, apply for grants and sponsorships to secure additional resources for our organization’s programs and events Seek out and explore conference opportunities to showcase Take a Pain Check’s initiatives and research in the field of chronic pain management Plan and execute events related to rheumatic diseases virtually and in person Coordinate, plan and promote contests, campaigns, and events to accessibility for our community
