Volunteer Opportunity: Satisfaction Survey Focus Group Volunteer

Community Living Oakville is looking for friendly, thoughtful volunteers to help support our Satisfaction Survey focus groups. This role is a great opportunity to support meaningful feedback from people we support, families, and caregivers, helping ensure their voices are heard and valued.

Focus group volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming, respectful space where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences and ideas.

Start Date: Early February (during day time hours) upon availabilty

Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling based on focus group dates

What You’ll Do:

Support the facilitation of satisfaction survey focus groups
Help create a comfortable, inclusive, and respectful environment
Assist with note-taking or organizing feedback (no interpretation or decision-making required)
Support participants as needed during sessions
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Who We’re Looking For:

Friendly, patient, and good listeners
Comfortable engaging with individuals and families in a group setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Respectful of confidentiality and diverse perspectives
Experience in facilitation, customer service, social services, education, or community engagement is an asset but not required
