Warehouse Inventory Unloading Volunteer

Help our Food Services Team receive and store our food inventory items.

Available Shifts:  Tuesdays and/or Fridays 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Responsibilities:

Walk through the warehouse at the beginning of the shift to make space for the incoming for the incoming delivery
Help the Volunteer Van Driver unload the items from the van, putting items away in designated locations.
Keep the KSM warehouse and work areas clean and organized according to warehouse processes and standards.
Dispose of recycling and clutter as needed. 
Clear the van, removing skids and contents, cleaning anything that may have spilled enroute.
Maintain a courteous and professional manner with staff and other volunteers.
Occasionally accompany KSM staff to go offsite and help with pickups/loading/receiving. 
Requirements:

Must be 18+.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good multi-tasking skills.
Ability to take direction and complete tasks efficiently.
Good problem-solving ability.
Attention to detail.
Organized and communicative.
Commitment: One shift per week for a minimum of 3 months.
