Volunteer Coordinator

Role Description:
The Volunteer Coordinator plays a key role in leading and strengthening Oasis’s volunteer program. This role is responsible for coordinating the full volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment support, interviewing and screening potential volunteers, onboarding, communication, and ongoing engagement, ensuring alignment with Oasis’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Coordinate and support the volunteer recruitment process, including reviewing applications and conducting interviews
•	Serve as a point of contact for prospective and active volunteers
•	Support onboarding, orientation, and follow-up processes
•	Coordinate volunteer scheduling and placement, in collaboration with staff
•	Maintain accurate volunteer records and support volunteer engagement and retention efforts

Qualifications:
•	Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•	Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
•	Ability to conduct interviews and engage effectively with diverse volunteer candidates
•	Experience in volunteer coordination, people management, recruitment, HR, nonprofit operations, or related fields (preferred)
•	Comfortable exercising judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and working independently

Estimated Time Commitment:
3–5 hours per week (flexible)
