Food Service Volunteer

Do you enjoy helping others and have a heart for seniors? We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Food Service Volunteer to support meal service for older adults at Seniors Life Enhancement Centres.

In this role, you will assist with the safe preparation and serving of meals, desserts, and refreshments. You will also help with dining room setup, client lunch service, and post-meal cleanup, contributing to a warm and welcoming mealtime experience for our clients.

Volunteer Requirements:
-Completion of an interview and reference check
-Successful completion of online Safe Food Handling Certification prior to starting (training costs covered by SLEC)
-Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
-Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
