Assist Stroke Survivors

Three ten-week sessions per year
The Oakville Strokers is a community initiative for stroke survivors, providing a maintenance program that helps revitalize one's sense of independence, mobility, and overall well-being. We meet each Friday at the Glen Abbey Community Centre in Oakville. The centrepiece of the program is one hour in the warm water pool. Volunteers are paired with stroke survivors to assist with gentle exercise.
