Short-Term Foster Dog Care Volunteers Needed!

ElderDog Canada helps keep seniors and their beloved dogs stay together by providing help when a dog needs short-term foster care while a senior is in hospital or recovers from an illness or injury and can't take care of their dog at home. We're looking for committed volunteers in North & West Vancouver who can open their home to a dog in need from time to time. All volunteers must be 18 years or older, provide a vulnerable sector police record check. Our foster application process requires references and home visit; training provided. Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Spend time with one of our wonderful dogs at a time when they need help the most. Help relieve the worry for a vulnerable senior who is unable to care for their dog while they are experiencing health emergencies.
