Various Coordinator Positions Available!

ElderDog Canada is a 100% volunteer-run charitable organization that helps seniors provide the care their beloved dog needs.  Our volunteers help with dog walks, trips to the vet or groomers, and short-term foster care, as well as permanent rehoming of dogs when needed.  We're looking for volunteers to help coordinate these services and to also provide help in areas like communications, events and outreach, and fundraising.

Available positions:

Dog Care Support Coordinator - sign up new senior clients and coordinate volunteer assignments.

Rehoming Coordinator - sign up new foster volunteers and coordinate both temporary foster care and permanent rehoming for dogs.

Fundraising Coordinator - organize fundraising events and develop fundraising partnerships in the community.

Events & Outreach Coordinator - organize events in the community to help raise our profile and recruit new clients and volunteers, and establish partnerships with related community organizations and businesses.

Volunteer Coordinator - process new volunteer applications.

Social Media Coordinator - post on Instagram and Facebook, create posters and related content using graphic design software (e.g. Canva)

Communications Coordiantor - create communications such as volunteer newsletters, articles for various community and regional publications.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old. All positions include training, mentoring, and working with a team to share the work and provide ongoing support.
