Join Our Team: Volunteer Opportunities at Breast Cancer Canada Across Canada

**Recruitment across Canada, highest need for those residing in the Ottawa, Edmonton, St. John's, Fredericton, and Halifax. 

Breast Cancer Canada is a leading national organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Committed to both supporting those affected and funding pivotal research, we strive to foster awareness, provide education, and champion early detection. Through our efforts, we aim to reduce the impact of this disease and move closer to a future where breast cancer is more preventable, treatable, and beatable.

We're thrilled you're considering joining one of our volunteer Regional Hubs. At our core, we're a dedicated team driven by a shared mission: making waves in the fight against breast cancer. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our efforts, and you will play a vital role in supporting our cause.

This role will require 6-10 hours of time commitment per month, possibly more during the months of May and October. We kindly ask for a 2-year commitment unless otherwise approved by BCC Senior Leadership.

*Please note, this role is currently only available to residents of Canada, or for those who are permitted to work in Canada. 

Responsibilities include:
- Collaboration with community partners to enhance the organization's visibility and effectiveness. 
- Engagement with a committed team of volunteers to organize, execute, and evaluate events aimed at raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.
- Actively supporting various fundraising channels, from digital campaigns to direct outreach, to help sustain our initiatives.
- Participate in and support efforts to raise awareness, provide education, and engage with communities to disseminate essential information related to breast cancer.
- Assisting in stewardship activities to enhance donor engagement and retention.
- Contributing to breast cancer research by collecting and managing valuable data, which can influence policies and medical practices.
- Leveraging your community and professional networks to identify and recruit new volunteers who are passionate about contributing to the fight against breast cancer.

Nice to Haves:
- Previous experience with Breast Cancer Canada or other not-for-profit organizations.
Previous fundraising experience.
- Be located in one of our regional hub locations. 
- Fluency in French an asset
