Parents Empowering Parents (PEP)Society is a grassroots non-profit (founded in 2004 in Strathcona County and expanded to Capital Region and surrounding areas) that empowers families to health with peer-to-peer support, education and professionally facilitated innovative programs.. we offer wrap around services to the parents/extended family including a restorative justice component of the group and a youth/young adult small group for those who may be active in substance or behavioral use and /or addiction.
Our mission is to provide education, innovative programming, support and hope for individuals or families dealing with or concerned about substance abuse/addiction. We commit to improving effective accessible treatment and positive outcomes for substance abuse/addictions.
Substance use or behavioral use/addiction impacts all of us directly or indirectly.. It crosses all boundaries of ethnicity, social status and age... PEP believes that there is power in knowledge and strength in unity.... Together we ARE stronger.
