Sherwood Care

Sherwood Care is a continuing care facility providing care for individuals who can no longer care for themselves. We are a voluntary organization, owned and operated by Adventist Health Systems - Alberta, a health ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

We first opened our doors in September 1969. While our residents and their needs have changed over the years, our commitment to quality care has never wavered. We firmly believe that this is the resident’s home and we are the guests. This philosophy dictates our decisions regarding resident programming and needs. We work diligently to create as much of a homelike environment as we can. Here staff and volunteers work together to provide the best care and comfort possible for the resident, as we strive to ensure that this be the best place a resident could be.

The Volunteer Program is vital in ensuring that this goal is met, and we thank you for making a difference in the lives of our residents.
