The Friendly Visiting program offers supportive visits or calls for isolated seniors in St. Albert and Sturgeon County in need of companionship. The visits can take place at the senior's home or in the community in St. Albert or Sturgeon County. Volunteers are matched with the senior based on similar interests and assist the senior in connecting with their program. Excellent opportunity for intergenerational connections, moms and with children are welcome to apply.

Patient, flexible individuals that have an understanding of older adults.

Friendly Visitor Volunteers receive thorough training in connecting with older adults and are provided with ongoing support and supervision and from our Community Connections Friendly Visitor Case Manager. Volunteers will be provided with references and certificates of appreciation and attend our annual Volunteer Appreciation event.
