AHS: Sacred Space Program Assistant and/or Musician - East Central Alberta Facilities

1-2 hours / weekly
Prefer a commitment of 6 months - 1 year
Assist patients/residents in participating in and enjoying worship services. This may include helping to set up before and clean up after the service, accompanying to and from the service, distributing song books or other materials used in the service, helping find song book pages, moving chairs/tables to accommodate wheelchairs, greeting people as they join the service, or (if a musician) providing musical accompaniment for the worship service. Regular non-denominational worship services are typically led by local church leaders on a rotational basis. Shifts available as per worship services rotation but are typically 1 ½ hours each on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, daytime or weekend.
Additional Details & Skills Required
Ideal candidate enjoys working and supporting seniors, is comfortable in a healthcare setting, and is open to learning.
