Who We Are

DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society's (DIVERSEcity) mission is to empower refugee and immigrants and build inclusive communities in British Columbia through the delivery of culturally and community-centered programs and supports. DIVERSEcity’s wrap-around supports assists refugees and immigrants in their integration into their new community through settlement and community programs (including food security and accessibility programs), language and literacy training, employment and skills training supports, counseling services, programs for women, children and youth and interpretation and translation services.

What We Do

DIVERSEcity has been working with newcomers and contributing to building equitable communities in Surrey, Delta and Langley for over 40 years. As an organization that has grown with the communities it works with, DIVERSEcity is responsive to the emerging needs of the communities it serves. To meet the complexities that many newcomers experience throughout their settlement journey, DIVERSEcity provides trauma-informed, specialized services that support vulnerable populations including refugees, women, children and LGBTQ+ Migrants.
