About IterateUX and the UX challenge

IterateUX is a community-driven organization that empowers students and emerging designers through practical UX experiences. This summer, we’re hosting the UX Design Challenge 2025 – a five-week virtual event from July 1 to August 5. 50–75 participants will work in teams to solve real-world problems for startups, guided by mentors and hands-on workshops.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a Business Partnerships Coordinator to lead outreach and coordination efforts with startups and business partners. You’ll play a key role in onboarding company partners who will work directly with design teams and ensure their needs are met throughout the challenge.

Key Responsibilities
• Contact and onboard 10+ startups to join the UX Challenge.
• Serve as the main liaison for company partners throughout the project.
• Match each team with a business based on project compatibility.
• Coordinate partner materials (logos, videos, challenge briefs).
• Support logistics leading up to and during the event (July 1–Aug 5).

Qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and comfortable managing timelines and follow-ups.
• Interest in startups, UX, or event planning is a plus.
• Professional and collaborative team player.

Time Commitment
- Estimated 8–10 hours per week from May to August 15, 2025. This includes weekly check-ins, independent outreach, and support during the event timeline.
