About IterateUX and the UX Challenge

IterateUX is a community-driven organization that empowers students and emerging designers through practical UX experiences. This summer, we’re hosting the UX Design Challenge 2025 – a five-week virtual event from July 1 to August 5. 50–75 participants will work in teams to solve real-world problems for startups, guided by mentors and hands-on workshops.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a Mentor Experience Coordinator who will manage the communication with mentors throughout the event. Your support will ensure each team is matched with the right guidance and that mentors are supported every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
• Reach out to mentors and confirm participation and compensation.
• Coordinate mentor schedules, availability, and expectations.
• Match mentors to teams based on skills and project focus.
• Act as the go-to contact for any mentor needs during the challenge.
• Help mentors prepare for workshops or feedback sessions.

Qualifications
• Friendly and reliable communicator.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience or interest in UX/design mentorship is an asset.
• Able to handle scheduling and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Time Commitment
• Estimated 8–10 hours per week from May to August 15, 2025. This includes weekly check-ins, independent outreach, and support during the event timeline.
