Volunteer Receptionist

Oak Avenue Neighbourhood Hub Society is a neighbourhood house connecting and bringing people from all walks of life together to thrive in our homes, communities and city. Our demographic is diverse and our programs meet community members where they are at- whether they are seniors, youth, or young families, newcomers or long-time residents, and low-income or in difficult transitions. Volunteer Receptionist will be working 2 -3 hours a week Wed-Fri (between 10am-5pm. We are closed on the weekends).
Job Description:
To welcome visitors to the Hub and help them get their Farmers Market Coupons, cheques or receive donation.
To answer the telephone, take messages and provide information to community members.
To update program databases
To assist with the general tidiness of the Neighbourhood Hub
To assist with the distribution of Neighbourhood Hub information within the community
To assist with Neighbourhood Hub programs when need arises
Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications: 
Good interpersonal skills
Good English communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
