Established in 1987, Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society is a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) internationally accredited community-based non-profit service provider with offices in Lower Mainland - Surrey, Vancouver, Delta, Prince George, Victoria, and having Work BC contracts with tri-cities. PICS assists immigrants, youth, older workers, farm workers, women, and the homeless population. The organization’s service streams include Employment Services, Settlement Services, Youth Services, Language Services, Volunteer Services, and Housing Services for Seniors and Survivors of Violence and/or Abuse.
PICS has over 37 years of experience developing and delivering a wide range of employment programs specifically designed to provide skills training and supported employment and volunteer service opportunities to diverse, underrepresented low skilled youth population, persons with multiple barriers to employment, new immigrants including immigrant/refugee, Indigenous population, older workers-55+, youth-at-risk, and programs for persons with disabilities.
