There is an urgent need for volunteers to help in Daily Bread Food Bank’s warehouse at 191 New Toronto Street (near Islington, north of Lakeshore)

Ask: 
Volunteer in the warehouse by assisting with fulfilling orders for more than 200 food programs across Toronto. You will be loading boxes of food onto palettes.

Benefits: 
Each shift, help thousands of people facing food insecurity.

Additional Benefits: 
Get and stay fit! You’ll be lifting boxes weighing up to 40 pounds and getting your steps in -- it’s a great workout! 

Ages: 18 to 80 or greater (we have many volunteers in their 60s!)

Bonus Benefits: 
Join us for a complimentary hot lunch for volunteers, made in-house by our fabulous chefs and kitchen volunteers.

When: 
Mornings (9am to 12pm) and Afternoons (1pm to 4pm), Monday to Friday.
