Kids Help Phone’s mission is to always be open, providing a safe, trusted place for young people in any moment of crisis or need.

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7, free, confidential, multilingual, e-mental health service for all youth. For over 35 years, Kids Help Phone has delivered clinical services in every corner of Canada. These include professional counselling via phone and live chat, crisis texting support and an online Peer-to-Peer community.

Kids Help Phone offers hope and life-changing support an average of 13,000 times every single day and night. Since the start of the pandemic, Kids Help Phone rapidly scaled to deliver clinical services to young people through phone counselling, texting crisis response, online tools, resource referrals and information. In 2023, website interactions in Ontario, where youth can access self-help information and referrals, increased by 16% compared to 2022.
