MS Walk Committee - Entertainment Coordinator

The 2025 Victoria MS Walk takes place Sunday, May 25th.  MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada where people impacted by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is a place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS.   

As part of the MS Walk Committee, you will plan and execute an inclusive, engaging event to connect and empower the MS community in your region.  MS impacts all Canadians, which is why we urge people to move forward together at MS Walk and help build awareness for the disease, raising much needed funds to allow us to continue to support people affected by MS.  This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time. 

The Entertainment Coordinator plays an important role in shaping the participant experience on site and on route.  This includes organizing entertainment and activities/games and managing the “main stage” and finish line experience to create a positive and memorable event experience for MS Walk participants.  

Responsibilities   

Work with the committee to create an event day experience that creates a community atmosphere and connection to our cause 

Secure entertainment for event day, that could include for the stage area, start/finish line, route, and activity tent  

Oversee the above areas on event day and provide direction to day-of-event volunteers and entertainers   

Coordinate a celebratory start/finish line area for participants  

Work with MS Walk Coordinator to secure an event MC and guest speakers   

Champion the Walk in your community by promoting the event and helping to recruit participants and day-of-event volunteers
