Presenter/Facilitator of educational programs for Osteoporosis Canada

Volunteers will engage in: 1) Public Speaking: Present/facilitate virtually (Zoom or other platforms) to various community groups and/or health care organizations on osteoporosis and bone health. 2) Facilitate support or other groups as per interest level. 3) Assist occasionally with projects such as outreach, coordination, program improvements/development as per interest level. Volunteers should: 1) Health or fitness background. 2) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations. 3) Empathy and understanding of people dealing with health issues. 4)Virtual platforms such as zoom (or willingness to learn) and basic computer skills The time commitment is: Daytime, Evening, Remote Volunteering, Flexible Hours Average 4 - 6 hours per month, primarily weekdays. Possibly 2-3 hours evenings per year. Possible special projects if interested.
