About the Ovarian Cancer Charity Golf Tournament The Fourth Annual Ovarian Cancer Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Richmond Hill Golf Club. The event includes a foursome scramble format of 18 championship holes with cart, on course refreshment stations, three course dinner & raffle prizes. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to eradicating ovarian cancer and preventing it from the future. Ovarian Cancer Canada demands action, delivers change, and transforms lives. Approximately 3,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year. Together, we can create a future where ovarian cancer is curable, preventable, and ultimately eradicated. About the Role As a Committee Member with the Ovarian Cancer Charity Golf Tournament, you'll play a key role in planning and executing a successful fundraiser. Your contributions will help create an unforgettable experience for participants and supporters. More importantly, your work will significantly contribute to the cause, making a real difference in the fight against ovarian cancer. Responsibilities • Duties may include assisting with coordinating entertainment, seeking sponsorships, organizing logistics, managing food and beverage, overseeing registration and finances, or providing general support and event execution. • Support the overall event experience, ensuring that every golfer has an enjoyable, and memorable time. • Must be available to attend the Ovarian Cancer Charity Golf Tournament on September 27, 2025. Time Commitment • Monthly committee meetings, which may increase in frequency leading up to the event. • On-site event support on September 27th, 2025. • 1-5 hours per week to support event planning, as needed.
