Capital Ride Event Day Volunteer

2225 Craig's Side Rd, Carp, ON, K0A 1L0 [map]
The Capital Ride is our first-ever community cycling event in Ottawa in support of Parkinson Canada! This inaugural ride brings together participants of all levels to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease, all while enjoying a fun and active day in the nation’s capital.

If you find joy in supporting events and performing tasks ranging from assisting the registration table, cheering on participants, or serving meals, we'd love for you to sign up!
As a Capital Ride Event Day Volunteer, you will help raise awareness about Parkinson's in your community while having fun doing it!

Event day volunteers provide support in a variety of ways. By helping with pre-event set up and registration on Friday, cheering on riders as they complete the route, supporting participant registration, helping with set up, and everything in between, volunteers are an important component of a successful event.

There will be pre-event activities on Friday, June 20. The Capital Ride will take place on Saturday, June 21 between 7:00am and 3:00pm.

Volunteer shifts vary according scheduled activities and your availability. When you sign up, a Parkinson Canada Event Coordinator will be in touch with you to discuss the schedule and assign you to your shift.

Together, let's make a difference in the lives of people living with Parkinson's!
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Meet new people! Make an impact in the lives of people living with Parkinson's! Have fun while supporting an important cause!
