Tech Cafe - Volunteer (Digital Training Assistants)

Overview
The Tech Café program at the 411 Seniors Centre aims to bridge the technology gap for older adults by providing devices and digital literacy training. This drop-in program, which runs once a week, allows seniors to bring their own devices and ask questions. 
Our team helps them navigate their devices and provides answers to their questions. The session runs every Thursday, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteers will assist and guide seniors in navigating their personal devices.

Responsibilities
•	Provide patient and supportive tech help to participants throughout the session.
•	Assist the facilitator in arranging the room for each session.
•	Foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere for all participants.

Time Commitment
•	1 hour – 2 hours per week.
•	Sessions are held on Thursdays from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Qualifications
•	Must be 19 years of age or older.
•	Passion for community service and helping those in need.
•	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•	Proficient in using smartphones, tablets and computers to support seniors.
